Luton International Carnival

May 26th 2008 saw London Luton Airport participate in the Luton International Carnival for the first time. Airport staff worked in partnership with UK Carnival Arts Centre and St Matthew's School to design and produce the Airport float and costumes

On the day itself, a typical British Bank Holiday downpour failed to dampen the festival spirit as employees from across the Airport, together with the pupils and teachers from St Matthew’s Primary School in Luton, joined the parade of more than 70 floats in the UK’s biggest one day international spectacle.

Local-news.tv reports on the Carnival.
